The Maximum Whey Protein Isolate Story

Hello. My name is Mel Genauer. I'd like to tell you how I got started in this business and why I developed Maximum whey protein isolate. Three years ago I learned that whey protein is an excellent food source for weight loss and body-building because it's a high protein source. I decided I wanted to use this protein for myself. So I went into the most knowledgeable vitamin/health food store in my area and asked them for the best whey protein product they had.

I bought it and brought it home. Then I discovered it was not Kosher because of the flavorings and other problem ingredients. I renewed my search and began looking all over for a high quality Kosher certified whey protein. I checked retail stores, mail order catalogs, the web - and I couldn't find a Certified Kosher whey protein product anywhere.

Finally I was guided to a high quality dairy food manufacturer whose plant is Certified OU Kosher all year long. I told them what I was looking for and they created a custom whey protein formula and sent me a sample. It tasted OK. So I asked them to produce 30 canisters and started using it myself. I also began distributing it to my friends who wanted a Certified Kosher whey protein, as well.

Then I learned about the difference between whey protein isolates and whey concentrates. Whey protein isolates are way better. That's because when using a whey concentrate only about 80% of the protein is absorbed by the body compared to up to 98% absorption of the whey protein isolate. My sample was a blend of concentrates and isolates. In addition, one of the original ingredients in the sample was fuctose, a sweetener.

Then, I learned that a fructose sweetener is not so healthy. When ingested, fructose is immediately sent to the liver where it is a key building block in the manufacture of triglycerides. These triglycerides are then brought to the bloodstream and carried by LDL (bad) cholesterol to the arteries where the LDL can deposit in the artery walls. Not good.

Yet, fructose is used in many whey protein products currently on the market. So I began looking for an alternative, safe sweetener. I found one called Sucralose.

Having done all this research, I realized there was a need in the marketplace for a very high quality whey protein isolate that did not contain fructose and was certified Kosher. I worked for the next year to develop the BEST QUALITY, BEST TASTING, PURE WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE POWDER available anywhere -- so that I could sell it nationally to the Kosher and Non-Kosher consumer.

During this time I also worked on improving the taste. I would not be satisfied with an OK tasting product. I wanted a GREAT tasting product. After months of taste testing and many formula changes I created the delicious Maximum product that is available to you in Vanilla and Chocolate flavors. We have now added Natural Unflavored.

That's my story and the rest is history. To order a TRIAL SIZE of the best tasting, certified Kosher, 100% pure whey protein isolate, click here. Or, to order a whole 2 lb. canister of the amazing Maximum, click here.

Sincerely,
